Welcome

Welcome to the Grand Forks ski club blog. This is a ski and snowboard forum for area enthusiasts to communicate and share information.

Looking to find out about ski gear, technique, ask a question, see what's going on, talk about last week, etc. This is the place to do it! See instructions tab for further info. Join in by clicking the comment link.

Site Instructions

This site was intended to create a virtual ski club in the Grand Forks North Dakota area.  There is no obligation to formally join, and commenting relative to anything ski or snowboard oriented is highly encouraged. Formally joining the ski club is completed by sending an email address to be invited as a blog author.

This club does not formally meet, however through networking on this site the intention is to better connect the area ski community.  Formal meeting can be reserved to occur on the hill!

Participation on this site can occur in multiple ways:
1) Commenting - All posts include a comment link at the bottom.  Clicking on the link enables the insertion of text at the bottom of a post.  A profile will be requested in order to post a comment.  There is an option to remain anonymous, or simply use your google account for identification.  If you do not have a google account, consider setting one up via the link provided - it is simple and painless - and will enable others to respond to you individually.  Comments automatically send a notification to the site administrator enabling a reasonably prompt response if necessary.
2) Become an author (formal ski club member) to this blog - Send a request to dschmidt@undeerc.org.  The club is interested in members to become "team bloggers" and to post & manage the various topics of these pages.  Include in the request your email address.

Site organization - All posts on all subjects show up on the home page.  Posts are conveniently organized by label & sorted in the topic list at the right hand side of the page. Authors are to label posts accordingly. The tabbed pages are "static" meaning only one post per page + comments.  The tabbed pages provide instructions and content intended to remain available for longer periods of time.  The "Who's going where" page is meant to be a bulletin board.  It can be accessed by posting a comment. The photo page is also a bulletin board and requires submission of photos to an author to post.
